Fallon teams up with Boston Magazine to build Showhouse

Fallon Custom Homes & Renovations was proud to team up with Boston Magazine to build Design Home 2006. This 10,000 square-foot show house was open to tours; ticket sales went to benefit The Home for Little Wanderers, which provides New England’s most comprehensive network of support services for children and their parents.

We were able to complete this sizable project within the allotted timeframe, without sacrificing the same attention to detail that goes into all our work. This project was a great opportunity for guests to study the craftsmanship, appreciate the artistry, and get a glimpse of the standards of luxury that Fallon upholds year after year.

Each room was designed with an elegant, understated theme, using color and light to highlight the home’s features. Large windows and the generous use of French doors and a beautiful screened-in porch helped to bring the outdoors into the dwelling. No detail was overlooked in this custom home, from the furniture-quality cabinet doors in the kitchen and bathrooms to the African-mahogany covered library. Our cabinet shop produced the custom woodwork throughout the house. Millwork details abound in the dining room with built-in China cabinets, a coffered ceiling in the living room, and the hand-made curved cherry bar in the downstairs lounge.

Many bells and whistles were installed in this Design Home to make it truly unique. It was equipped with whole-home lighting and music system, high-end home theater, state-of-the art kitchen…and even a putting green!
