About the Role
Cabinet Maker at Fallon Fine Cabinetry
Responsibilities:
- Operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut, shape and form wood
- Fitting parts together using glue and clamps
- Reinforcing joints using nails or screws
- Trimming joints
- Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finished products
- Marking outlines or dimensions on wood
- Preparing or interpreting CAD Drawings
Requirements
Qualifications:
4+ Years’ experience in a millwork shop (residential preferred).
Trade School graduate is preferred, but not required.
Must be mechanically inclined and like to work with your hands.
Have a keen understanding of woodworking techniques, methods, and tools involved in the layout and construction of high-end custom cabinetry.
Should have the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical drawings, demonstrate precise measurement/math
skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively
Able to work well independently and as a team.
CNC experience a plus
A valid driver’s license is required.
